Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RukTech Advancements LLC ("ClearViewCash," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the ClearViewCash mobile applications, websites, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Introduction and Scope
This Policy applies to information we process about users of the Service. It does not apply to third-party services that have their own privacy policies (for example, your financial institutions, Plaid, Apple, Stripe, or other providers). We encourage you to review those policies separately.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide.
- Account information such as your email address and authentication credentials (passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only in hashed form).
- Profile and Space details, including Space names and the people you invite to collaborate.
- Content you create, such as bills, income events, budgets, goals, payment links, and scenarios.
- Communications you send us, such as support requests and feedback.
Financial account information (via Plaid).
When you link a financial account, we use Plaid to retrieve information on a read-only basis, such as account balances, transaction history, and account and institution metadata. We do not receive or store your bank login credentials; those are handled by Plaid.
Subscription and billing information.
When you purchase a subscription, our payment processors (Apple/RevenueCat on iOS, and Stripe on web and Android) process your payment and provide us with subscription status and limited billing details. We do not store full payment-card numbers.
Usage and device information.
- Device and app information, such as device type, operating system, app version, and identifiers.
- Usage and log data, such as features used, actions taken, timestamps, and diagnostic or crash data.
- Push-notification tokens, if you enable notifications.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service, including displaying your balances and projections.
- Process subscriptions, trials, and payments, and manage account limits.
- Enable collaboration within Spaces according to your sharing choices.
- Provide AI and scenario features you request.
- Communicate with you about the Service, including service-related notices and, where permitted, product updates.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
- Analyze and improve the Service, including using aggregated or de-identified data.
4. Plaid
We use Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to connect the Service to your financial institutions. By linking an account, you grant us and Plaid the right to access and transmit your account information consistent with this Policy. Plaid's handling of your information is governed by Plaid's privacy policy, available at https://plaid.com/legal. You can revoke a connection at any time from within the Service.
5. AI Processing
If you use AI or scenario features, relevant inputs (such as the figures and parameters needed to generate a projection or summary) may be transmitted to and processed by third-party AI providers, such as OpenAI, to produce the requested output. We seek to limit the information shared to what is necessary for the feature, and we do not authorize these providers to use your information to train their models except as permitted by their applicable terms.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers and subprocessors who process information on our behalf, including Supabase (database, authentication, and hosting), Plaid (financial connections), Stripe and Apple/RevenueCat (payments and subscriptions), OpenAI (AI features), Resend (email delivery), and push-notification and infrastructure providers — each bound to use the information only to provide their services.
- Other members of your Spaces, limited to the information you choose to share with them.
- As required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be linked to you may be retained.
8. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access, correct, or update your information from within the Service.
- Export your data and delete your account from Settings; deletion revokes connected account links and cancels any subscription billed by us.
- Disconnect any linked financial account at any time.
- Manage push notifications through your device settings.
- Request information about, or deletion of, the personal information we hold about you.

10. U.S. State Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with applicable privacy laws, you may have additional rights, including the right to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of certain targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. 11. International Users (GDPR/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction, we process your personal data on lawful bases including performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent (where required), and compliance with legal obligations. You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. Where we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by law. 12. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children and is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. 13. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the site (for example, to keep you signed in and remember preferences) and to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
14. International Data Transfers
We and our service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries that may have data-protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
